The "Power Unwind" option allows 16" O.D. rolls of label stock to be utilized. This can mean as much as three times the volume of production between roll changes. Furthermore, the loose loop web control of the power unwind allows "on-the-fly-splicing" of the label stock. This feature allows "zero-down-time" operation. Productivity is maximized. The Power unwind is also equipped with a low supply warning beacon to warn operators of an impending roll change.
Another feature of the Power Unwind is that it can allow the label roll to be located away from the label applicating head. This can be very useful when space is tight for the labeller installation or operator access is awkward. The label supply roll can be located in a more convenient spot.
